Knocked Up

Whatever the movies are telling you, nerdy dudes are not being picked up by women like Katherine Heigl.

I want to get out and see the flick. I've been a big fan of Apatow's work since Freaks and Geeks. But, I'll probably have to wait for video. Are we still calling it 'video', or is it 'DVD' now? Is 'video' antiquated? I need to know!
But the nerds aren't going out with me either...hey wait a minute, they're all sitting in front of computers...I need to reevaluate.

Freaks and Geeks is up next after the Firefly Netflix fest. I'm very excited.
[this is good]

Oh Freaks and Geeks is one of my favorites. Seth Rogen will not disappoint. He's not one of the main dudes but there is at least one great episode centered on him, and his character is such a dry smartass.

I gotta see KU! (being I am all about the 'ku these days, haha)

hmm..it depends in which area you live I guess?
There's lots of Nerd love going around lately lol :)

I would like to see this one. This is the blonde gal from Greys Ant. right?
The previews do not make this movie look appealing to me, but I've been hearing all sorts of great stuff about it. I haven't seen any of Apatow's previous work (no 40 Year Old Virgin even). Whoops, I take that back, just checked the IMDB, it looks like he was a writer for Undeclared which I did watch and that was a cool show. I really want to see Freaks and Geeks and 40y.o. virgin, just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I also <3 Terry Gross. :-)
It's like they're smarter and less crass versions of early Farrelly Brothers movies - works for me. You'll recognize a lot of actors from Undeclared (and Freaks & Geeks, apparently) as they're in the movie too. I hope you see 40YOV and Knocked Up and like them :)

I haven't seen 40YOV either but I might have just put it in my netflix Q. I didn't realize till recently that he did that one too.

Val...you will LOVE F&G totally. I would loan both of you my copy of the DVD if you didn't live so damn far. It's so good, and criminal that they canned it after only one season.

Hmm. Interesting that this little nugget appeared today. I mean, why now? Unless she happened to write a few "cease & desist" letters before being released.
I saw that earlier today - those situations irk the hell out of me. It's not like movies are developed in a vacuum - I've known about it for months, and I'm certainly a disinterested party. Litigation sucks.
